Description
Laxapet is a caramel flavoured laxative gel which can be used for both cats and dogs.Ingredients:
Contains liquid paraffin 400mg/g, caramel flavoured, Laxapet Gel is very palatable to cats and dogs.
Indications:
Can be used as a Laxative and/or, aid in the elimination of ingested hair in dogs and cats.
Dosage and Administration:
5gm which is equivalent to a 10cm strip that can be given to the animal by placing the gel on the animal’s nose or in the mouth. Initially, a small amount can be given to the animal to acquaint the animal with the taste.
Cats: Ingested hair: 5gm daily for two to three days; then 2.5gm two to three times a week.
Cats – Laxative: 2.5gm two to three times a week.
Dogs – Laxative: small dogs: 15gm; large dogs: 30gm; two to three times weekly.
Precautions:
Prolonged use may induce vitamin deficiency; use a vitamin supplement as a preventive measure.
Presentation:
Gel in a Tube – 100gm.
Storage:
Store below 30oC (room temperature).
