Returns Policy

No one likes a chew toy that’s already been nibbled, or a scratch post that’s already been shredded, so we do suggest you take a moment to consider your purchase before you click, ‘buy.’

However, should your items provide to be faulty once they arrive, we agree that you’ll need to be provided with a replacement item as soon as possible. Contact us within seven days to advise us of the faulty item and we’ll put you directly in-touch with the supplier representative to arrange redress and a fresh delivery.

Alternatively, we are happy for you to visit one of our clinics to return and reselect your pet product in person.

At Vet for Pet we aim to provide a good range of quality products delivered on time.  However, we accept that sometimes things will go wrong.  Vet for Pet is totally committed to upholding your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Your first port of call should always be customer service on ph. 09 636 6732 but you should read this page so you know what we intend to do.
 
1. The Product I ordered arrived faulty or didn’t work as intended
Please contact Vet for Pet as soon as possible to arrange a return for testing.  If we confirm the Product was damaged or faulty before we dispatched it to you we will repair or replace the Product for you at no charge within a reasonable time.  We may also offer a refund at our discretion
 
2. The Product I ordered was damaged in transit
Please contact Vet for Pet as soon as possible.

If your item was damaged after it was dispatched and before arriving at your address, you will receive a full refund or replacement. We can only accept your claim if you keep the original packaging for the Product and the box or envelope in which it was delivered.
 
3. I've changed my mind and no longer want the Product I ordered
Unfortunately we do not accept returns of Products where you have changed your mind.
 
4. The Product I received is not the item I ordered
Please contact Vet for Pet as soon as possible.

As long as the Product is unopened and in as new condition we will replace the item or provide a full refund.  To get your replacement or refund you must return the Product you initially received to us.
 
5. I've had my Product for a while, but it no longer works as described
Where we can we will help you with the repair or replacement of a malfunctioning Product.
